My name is Milca Zapata, and I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the Parent Coordinator of MS 319. I look forward to meeting each of you personally so that we can begin to build our partnership in support of your child.
My role as Parent Coordinator is to support the most important people in your children's lives, which is you! I am here to answer questions and to support you with any concerns regarding your child's academic or social life at MS 319.
It is understandable how we as parents would be nervous for our kids as they enter into new endeavors such as Middle School; nevertheless, as your Parent Coordinator I will be there to walk you through whatever concerns, apprehensions or questions you might have. I promise that if I can't find an answer to your questions, I will find you someone who can.
